Eva Hersheline Crigger

April 3, 1935 — October 1, 2007

Eva Hersheline Crigger, age 72, a resident of East 9th Street in Columbia, passed away on Monday, October 1, in Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Miss Crigger will be conducted Thursday October 4, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Elmer Lusk and Joe Macer officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 6:00 ? 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The Marshall County native was the daughter of the late John D. Crigger and Mary Jane Holder Crigger. She was a former employee of K.F.C., Gable and Gale, Fountain Drive In, Giant Foods, Country Kitchen and also worked in Food Service for McDowell School. She was member of the Eastside Church of Christ.

The most important activity in her life was attending her church.

Survivors include four sisters: Ethel Crigger Cross of Burbank, CA, Ellen Crigger Grooms Shepherd, Eunice Crigger Oliver, Clara June Crigger all of Columbia, TN; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers: John Colby Crigger, Howard Crigger, Royce Crigger, Gaston Crigger and Nathan D. Crigger; one sister, Virginia Crigger Dudley.

Pallbearers will be James Dickey, Bill Jones, Jerry Wilson, James Dean, Jerry Wiley and Donnie Davis.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Eastside Church of Christ

Memorial donations may be made to Eastside Church of Christ Building Fund, 1024 East Valley Drive, Columbia, TN 38401.
