Mr. Eugene Talbot MacGeen, age 82, a resident of George Ingram Road in Pulaski, passed away on Thursday, October 14, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Born July 29, 1928 in Monticello, NY, Eugene was the son of the late Dolph MacGeen and Sally Tait MacGeen. He was the husband of Betty Izard MacGeen who survives. Mr. MacGeen had been employed by the Webb Company in Nashville as a commercial laundry equipment repairman. His greatest enjoyment came from doing yard work and until the past two years had taken pleasure in mowing several acres with a push mower.
He is survived, in addition to his wife Betty, by one son: James Janice MacGeen of Pulaski; grandchildren: Samantha Terry Hicks of Pulaski, Adam Monica MacGeen, of Pulaski, Joseph MacGeen of Lawrenceburg and James MacGeen of Pulaski; two great-grandchildren: Matthew Hicks and Dorianne Hicks, both of Pulaski; one special niece, Jean Chapin of Hamilton, NY along with other nieces and nephews. Eugene was preceded in death by a son, Joseph MacGeen and several sisters.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
