Eugene Hamilton

Mr. Eugene Hamilton, 72, a resident of Cliff White Road in Columbia, died Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at St. Thomas Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Hamilton will be conducted Friday, June 3, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend David Berry officiating. Entombment will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Craner, Kentucky native was the son of the late Joel and Polly Hall Hamilton. He was the husband of Faunetta Booth Hamilton. He was a retired mechanic for General Motors Corporation and a member of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Joetta Bobby Hurley of Culleoka, TN, Pamela Jacob Melendez and Lisha Stewart both of Columbia, TN, Bobbie Jo Hurley of Lewisburg, TN and Devin Hurley of Columbia, TN; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Oma Brown of Trent, MI and Mona Hall of Teaberry, KY; several nieces and nephews.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
