Eugene E. Lowe

November 16, 1924 — September 25, 2002

Mr. Eugene E. Lowe, 77, formerly of Washington D.C. and a resident of Scoville Lane at Spring Hill , died Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at Trevecca Nursing Home in Nashville.

Private family services will be conducted at a later date. Williams Columbia Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Washington D.C. native was the son of the late Arthur L. and Helen Boberg Lowe. He was the husband of Cary Sprenkel Lowe of Spring Hill. He was a retired self-employed restoration builder. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Franklin. He served in the U.S. Navy Coast Guard during World War II.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Helen Troy Stewart of Thompson Station; two sons, Richard Jeanne Lowe of Marshall, VA and Edward Michelle Lowe of Hailey, ID; three grandchildren, Leah Lowe and Richard Lowe, Jr. of Marshall, VA, and Collin Stewart of Thompson Station, TN; two sisters, Dorothy A. Herwig of Dixon, IL and Carolyn L. Leighton of Underhill Center, VT; a brother, Robert W. Lowe of Chevy Chase, MD. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur L. Lowe, Jr. and Richard B. Lowe.
