Eugene Boshers Jr.

March 23, 1933 — November 4, 2013

Eugene Boshers, Jr., beloved husband and father passed away at his home on Monday, November 4. Mr. Boshers lived in Mt. Pleasant.

Beginning his native life in Maury County, Eugene was born to the late Eugene Boshers, Sr. and Anne Mae Allen Boshers. He married his loving wife, Bertha Ament Boshers, and later started their family. He retired from Boshers’ Welding and after retirement he continued to work as a tree surgeon. Eugene was a member of Allensville Baptist Church where he was a Sunday school teacher.

Funeral services for Mr. Boshers will be Thursday, November 7, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Dale Ledbetter and Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow the service in Arlington Cemetery. The family invites friends for visitation on Wednesday, November 6, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors for Eugene include: his wife, Bertha Boshers; five children, Bobby Gene (Jane) Boshers, Brenda (Michael) Williams, Terry ‘Dooley’ (Darlene) Boshers, Kimberly (Richard) Hughes, and Benjamin (Heather) Boshers; granddaughter, Katie Williams; two great-granddaughters, Jennica Boshers and Elatia Anderson; ten grandsons, Alex Hughes, Brandon Williams, Christoper Boshers, Travis (Leslie) Brewer, Evan Boshers, Jeremy (Terri) Boshers, Derek Boshers, Cash Boshers, Kyle Boshers, and Cody Boshers; two brothers, Jackie (Linda) Boshers and Steve (Carolyn) Boshers; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive him. Along with his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by: five brothers, Kenneth Boshers, Pete Boshers, Howard Boshers, Donald Boshers, J.W. Boshers; sister, Mary Elizabeth King; and great-grandson, Christopher Isaiah Boshers.

The grandsons will serve as pallbearers for the service. Honorary pallbearers include: Members and friends of Allensville Baptist Church, Dr. & Mrs. Gary Podgorski, Dr. & Mrs. Emilo Rodriguez, and Dr. & Mrs. George Heard.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the Hospice Compassus staff, Rita Fitts, and Dr. Reams Powers and staff.

Any memorials may be sent in Eugene’s name to Allensville Baptist Church building fund.
