Emma Lou Rochelle, age 69, of Hampshire, Tennessee passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Signature Healthcare of Columbia.
A native of Maury County, Emma was born on December 16, 1948 to the late Walter and Annie May Vaughn. Emma was an active woman; always on the go. She was always willing to help her family, friends and the community in which she lived. Her favorite pastimes were going to yard sales and going fishing.
Emma is survived by her daughter: Melody (David) Golden; son: David (Anita) “ToJo” Bridgeforth; brother: Monroe “Hopper” (Hazel) Vaughn; sister: Gayle (Jr) Shelden; grandchildren: Chance (Courtney), Abby, Sydney, Austin, Christian, Emily Golden and Damien Gordon as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings: Melvin Brewer, Ray “Catfish” Vaughn, Francis Givens and Betty Cothran and her granddaughter, Tiffini Golden.
A Memorial Service for Emma will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00am at Hampshire Methodist Church with Rock Jaggers officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Emma’s honor to Hampshire Methodist Church or Pisgah Ridge Cemetery Fund.
