Emily Sue Wilson, age 62, of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at NHC Columbia.

Emily was born on September 30, 1956, in Giles County, Tennessee to Joyce Thomas and the late John K. Wilson, Sr. She was a talented, artistic lady who loved painting, playing guitar and singing. She also loved gardening and beautiful flowers. She was a wonderful mother to her children and a caring certified nursing assistant.

She is survived by her children: John Tomlin of Nashville; Russ (Misty) Tomlin, of Mt. Juliet and Katie Goodface of Columbia, and; grandchildren: Thomas Tomlin, Piper Tomlin, Kendal Tomlin and Kayton Angus; mother: Joyce Thomas of Hickman County; and brother: Johnny K. Wilson, Jr.

Funeral services for Emily will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Pastor Phil Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, from 12 Noon until 2:00p.m., also at the funeral home.

Johnny Allred, Danny Wilson, Greg Claiborne, Paul Boney, Wesley Wilson and Tim Harris will serve as pallbearers.
