Elton Eugene Brady

April 21, 1913 — December 31, 2003

Mr. Elton Eugene ?Pop? Brady, 90, a resident of Goshen Road in the Santa Fe Community, died Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Brady will be conducted Saturday, January 3, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Jack Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Brady Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the son of the late George W. and Annie Stanfill Brady. He was the husband of Margaret Barnes Brady of the Santa Fe Community. He was a retired machine operator for Werthan Bag Company in Nashville and a member of the Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Nancy Hal Whitacre of Trinity, AL and Annie Victor Rodriques of Pensacola, FL; three sons, Bobby Brady of Chattanooga, TN, Randy Holly Brady of Mt. Pleasant, TN, and Kenny Rhonda Brady of Santa Fe, TN; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; a brother, Jack Brady of Nashville, TN; four sisters, Frances Crabtree of Antioch, TN, Irene Burns of Santa Fe, TN, Pauline Nicks and Sarah Potts both of Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Katie Humphrey and Ethel Burns; three brothers, Eldridge ?Buck? Brady, George Brady, and Thomas ?Junior? Brady.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Ed Simmons, Bill Rodriques, David Brady, Stephen Brady, Darrell Brady, Christopher Brady, and Derrick Brady.
