Ellen Marshall Bailey Hull was born June 15, 1931, in Lawrence Co., Tenn., the daughter of the late Chesley Hugh Marshall and Mary Irene South Marshall. Ellen was the wife of Homer Hull of Summertown. She retired as a cashier with Chatham's Supermarket in Michigan and was a member of the Hinestown Christian Church in Lewis County.
In addition to her husband, Ellen leaves behind to carry on her legacy her daughters, Patricia Frank Raeb of Shelby Township, MI and Diane Bill Perry of Fraser, MI; step-daughter, Tammy Johnny Black of Centerville and step-son, Timmy Kay Hull of Parsons, TN; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, 7 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Howard Marilyn Marshall of Hopkinsville, KY and Tommy Joyce Marshall of Ethridge; two sisters, Nell Bobby Long of Lawrenceburg and Dale Mark Dooley of Waynesboro. In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard Bailey; one son, William Leonard Bailey and one daughter, Sandra Jean Leegan.
Ellen passed away on Friday morning at her home surrounded by her loving and caring family.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Jason Haygood and Tony Sims officiating. Burial will follow in the John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Perry, Joey Perry, Donnie Bailey, Danny Ray Hull, Lawrence Hull and Howard Marshall, Jr.
