Mrs. Ella Jane Baker, age 78, a resident of Mahr Avenue of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, at Maury Regional Healthcare.
A Memorial service will be conducted at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses at a later date. Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of local arrangements.
The Arkansas native was the daughter of the late Daniel and Dovie Tranham Rice. She was the wife of Franklin Baker of Lawrenceburg. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Lawrenceburg.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Kathy Billy Redd, Trudie Gary Bailey, Randy Baker and Doyle Baker all of Lawrenceburg, TN, Laurie Jimmy Whitaker of Monterey, TN, Emily Chris Bower of Lawrenceburg, and Spring Eddie Cady of Michigan: 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Imogene Wilson of Arkansas and Ida Kilby of Virginia. She was preceded in death by one son: Franklin Baker, Jr. and several brothers and sisters.
