Elizabeth "Liz" Manduca Minor

Mrs. Elizabeth Manduca ?Liz? Minor, 65, a resident of West 6th Street in Columbia, died Friday, October 21, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Minor will be conducted Monday, October 24, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Columbia with Reverend Mike Dawson and Reverend and Mrs. Thad Peak officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 until 9:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia and Monday from 10:00 am until service time at the church.

The Chicago, IL. native was the daughter of the late Dominic and Edna Kloeppel Manduca and wife of Jerry L. Minor. She was a retired RN at the Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, IL. She was an artist that loved painting and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Columbia.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Jason A. Minor of Culleoka, TN and Paul A. Minor of Columbia, TN; two sisters, Edna Buer of Springfield, MO and Helen Thad Peak of Prairie Du Chien, WI. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman Jensen and Henry Jenson; a sister, Dorothy Crivellone.

Pallbearers will be Ted Huntley, Eddie Evans, Don Allen, Danny Lipscomb, Roy Thompson and Chuck Premo. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Forever Young Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 2790 Pulaski Highway, Columbia, TN 38401.
