Elizabeth Fay Embler, age 73, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.
Fay Embler was the embodiment of a joyful soul. IF you were to walk into her home you were greeted by the smell of coffee and the question “Have you eaten yet?” She always had a heart for caring for others. Especially her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and truly a mother to all. When Fay wasn’t wrangling children she was an avid reader, she loved to spend time with a good book or lovin’ on her animals. Fay dedicated her life to loving those around her, she is loved and will be dearly missed.
Fay is survived by her children: Leonard (Rose) Embler, Beth Embler, Sarah (Joe Schultz) Embler, and Andrew Embler; grandchildren: Kandice Embler, Bray Embler, and Chelsie Bales; great-grandchildren: Sophia Dokes, Lucas Legarrea, Vinny Vaughn and Riley Vaughn; brothers: Robert Vaughn and Henry (Linda) Vaughn; brother in law: Dan Embler; many nieces and nephews and all of the creek kids. Fay is preceded in death by her husband Jackson Embler and grandson Kye Embler.
