Mr. Eli Daniel Duberry, 26, owner and operator of Eli?s Auto Repair in Mt. Pleasant and a resident of the Lawrenceburg Highway, died Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at the Vanderbilt University Hospital Burn Center.

Funeral services for Mr. Duberry will be conducted Saturday, April 24, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery in Lewis County. The family will visit with friends Friday from 2:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born in Jesup, Georgia and native of Mt. Pleasant, he was the son of Ricky Kim Duberry and Reba Browning Duberry all of Mt. Pleasant. He was the husband of Cassey Foster Duberry and the father of Tyler Elijah Duberry . He attended Mt. Pleasant Elementary School, Middle School and High School through the 11th grade and attended Lewis County High School.

In addition to his wife, parents, and son, he is a sister, Paige Duberry of Mt. Pleasant, TN; two brothers, Shae Duberry and Mitchell Jones both of Mt. Pleasant, TN; his grandparents, Danny and Juanita McClain and Joe Bishop of Mt. Pleasant, TN; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Billy Ray Carroll of Hampshire and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Browning of Hinesville, Georgia.

Pallbearers will be Robby McKennon, Kevin Boshers, Mitchell Jones, Josh Floyd, Tracy Patterson, Ed McHenry, Tommy Shaffer, and Billy Carroll. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Foster, Joe Bishop, Troy Brewer, Teddy Wayne Carroll, Jeremiah Helms, Jay Jay Pierce, Jerry Burks, Danny Wicker, Zach Sharp, Herman Dunn, Eddie Lee Hinson, Herbie Adcock, Adam Smith, Nick Shelton, doctors and staff of the Burn Unit at Vanderbilt Hospital, Daniel Duberry, Tom Thompson, and Eric Lawson.

Memorials may be made to a trust fund for Tyler and Gracie Duberry at the Wayne County Bank Highway 64, West, Waynesboro, Tennessee 38485.
