Elbert Frances Moss, age 88 of Pulaski, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013.

Elbert Moss was born in Alabama to the late James Wiley Moss and Ida Mae Harper Moss. He was married for 50 years to his loving wife Nannie Mae Barlar Moss until her death in May 2000. Elbert was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on February 20, 1943, and served as an elder for over 50 years beginning in 1951.

The memorial service for Mr. Elbert Frances Moss will be held on Sunday, October 13, at 2:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Pulaski. The family invites friends for a visitation from 1:00 pm until service time.

Mr. Moss is survived by: his children, Randall (Nita) Moss and Cindy (Tim) Moss Feucht; his sister, Ressie Moss Millyard; many nieces and nephews also survive him. Elbert was preceded in death by: his parents, James Wiley and Ida Mae Harper Moss; his wife, Nannie Mae Barlar Moss; brothers, Hubert, Raymond, Buford, Hobert, and Ellis Moss; and his sister, Grace Moss Reed.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Hillside Hospital Emergency Room and ICU, and NHC nursing home in Pulaski for the care and compassion that was generously shown. They would also like to say thank you to all the family and friends who visited and gave their support during his illness.
