Edward P. Monroe

Mr. Edward ?Ed? Monroe, age 59, a resident of Garner Rd., passed away Saturday, September 2, 2006, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 P.M. at the Magnolia Cemetery, Meridian Mississippi. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 5:00?8:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia and Thursday from 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Barham Funeral Home in Meridian, MS.
The Meridian Mississippi native was the son of the late Samuel and Minnie Ree Hodge Monroe and the husband of Dr. Linda Monroe. Mr. Monroe was a cattle farmer and a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church.
In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, Douglas Monroe of Rockvale TN; two sisters, Billie Knight and Eva Lou Pace, both of Meridian MS.
Memorials may be made to The American Heart Association. Middle Tennessee Region, 209 23rd Avenue, North, Nashville, TN 37203.
