Edward G. Schroeder

Mr. Edward G. Schroeder, 71, a resident of Austell Dr. in Columbia, died Saturday, Aug. 16 at NHC Hillview.
A memorial service for Mr. Schroeder will be conducted Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the 1st Assembly of God Church with Rev. Charles Blythe and Rev. Dean Simms officiating. Burial will be in Bingham Township in Woden, Iowa.
Born in Garner, Iowa, he was the son of the late John and Reka Korte Schroeder and the husband of Joyce Hooper Schroeder. He was a retired Civil Engineer with Guy F. Atkinson Construction in California and a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Dianne Duvall of Atlanta, GA, Kathy Glenn Nelson of Newport Beach, CA, Leza Kenny Verna of Glendale, CA; three sons, Roger Schroeder of Denver, CO, Scott Hooper of Simi Valley, CA and Eddie Michelle Schroeder of Fountain Valley, CA; twelve brothers and sisters; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Williams Columbia Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
