Edna Virginia Anderson

December 7, 1927 — February 5, 2007

Mrs. Edna Virginia Reed Anderson, age 79, a resident of Eighth Ave., in Lewisburg, passed away on Monday, Feb. 5, in St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

Funeral services for Mrs. Anderson will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. William Rolman officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 4:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The Spring Hill native was the daughter of the late W.C, Reed, Sr. and Ida Mae Priest Reed. She was the wife of Paul Anderson of Lewisburg whom she married on September 9, 1945. Edna attended Central High School and was a retired cafeteria worker with the Marshall County School System in Lewisburg. She was a member of the Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Fountain Heights, TN, where she was active in the CPW women?s ministry.

Survivors in addition to her husband include one son: Randell Anderson of Lewisburg; one daughter: Lori Ali of Lewisburg; one brother: George Dene Reed of Rockledge, FL; grandchildren: Justin Dilbeck, Dustin Dilbeck and Annalisa Pullen, all of Lewisburg. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Lisa Anderson; one brother: W.C. Cappy Reed, Jr., and one sister: Evelyn Davis Ed White

Pallbearers will be Ray Anderson, Joe Kelley, Charles Martin, Charles Martindale, John Park, Richard Paulk, Jimmy Rochelle and Jack Wilsford..

Memorial donations may be made to the Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1620 Fountain Heights Road, Columbia, TN 38401.
