Mrs. Edna Mashburn, 84, a resident of Porter Hollow Road in Linden, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at NHC/Columbia Health Care.
Graveside services for Mrs. Mashburn will be conducted Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 12:00 noon at the Himes Cemetery in Summertown with David Morris officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
Born in Lewis County, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Neelie Warren Williams and wife of the late Kenneth Mashburn. She worked most of her life on her farm and was of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Patricia Foster of Lawrenceburg, Gloria Foster of Pulaski and Belinda Foster of Dickson; nieces and nephew, Ernestine King, Marie John Woodard, Geraldine Dodd, Linda Turner, and Tommy Dodd, all of Columbia; son-in-law, Billy Foster. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Foster; her son, Jonathan Mashburn and several brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be Billy Wayne Wiley, Phillip Potts and other family members.
