Mrs. Edna Marie Calvert Russom, age 86, a resident of Blytheville, Ark passed away on, Thursday, November 27, 2008, at Great River Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mrs. Russom will be conducted Saturday Nov. 29, at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery in Blytheville, Arkansas.
Visitation for Mrs. Russom was Friday Nov. 28 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M at Carney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Russom retired from Parkview Nursing Home. She was a longtime employee of Kirby Drugstore of Blytheville and was of Baptist faith.
She is survived by three sons: Harold Sue Cooper of Blytheville, Earl Faye Cooper of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Jerry Moody of Fort Wayne, Indiana; one brother: Steve "Mutt" Calvert; two sisters: Madge Well and Pat Sellers both of Blytheville; one great-grandchild whom she raised, Cayla Cooper Grissom of Blytheville; grandchildren, three of whom live in Mt. Pleasant, TN: Todd Regina Cooper, Brian Sharon Cooper, Greg Becky Cooper and Brent Andrea Cooper of Hohenwald, TN; great-grandchildren including Blake Cooper, Jay Cooper, Brianna Cooper, Kaley Cooper all of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Sara Denman of Hohenwald, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed Calvert and Lillie Calvert Gann; two sisters: Emma Sue Calvert and Dorothy Bailey and one brother: James Calvert.
Pallbearers will be Todd Cooper, Brent Cooper, Brian Cooper, Jay Cooper, Blake Cooper and Marshall Dean foster.
