Eddie Arlen Whitehead

Eddie Arlen Whitehead of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee passed away on March 16, 2018, at his home.

Eddie was born on November 12, 1948, in Giles County to the late Ernest and Betty Blanche Whitehead.

Eddie served his country in the United States Army. After serving his country he came back and labored many years in radiator and mechanic work. He came back home to Maury County in1989 and began his career of sales with Perry Industrial. After retiring he went to work at Med-Ride part-time.

Eddie married his longtime love, Margie Pedigo, on June 14, 1974, and they spent 38 years together before her passing in 2012. He was a lifelong fisherman and loved coaching his grandchildren in softball.

The family will visit with friends on Sunday, March 18, 2018, from 4-8pm at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. Funeral services for Eddie will be held on Monday, March 19 at 2pm, in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant with Randy McNeese officiating. Burial will follow at Spencer Hill Cemetery.
Eddie is survived by four daughters: Connie Whitehead, Carrie Whitehead, Christy (Nolan) Derryberry and Sherry (David) Smith; three sisters: Linda RayMorton, Katherine (Monk) Woodard, and Faye (Leslie) Burns; one brother: Johnny (Kim) Whitehead; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter Jamie Whitehead and three siblings Chuck Whitehead, Mary Whitehead, and Jewel Whitehead.

Pallbearers will be Doug Woodard, Timmy Woodard, Jimmy Woodard, Brent Burns, Brandon Burns, and Cody Allen.
