Eddie "Hyena" Bolton

Eddie "Hyena" Papa Smurf Bolton was born December 9, 1957 in Columbia, TN. He was the son of William Edward Bolton of Hohenwald and the late Katherine Isabell Medlin. He was the husband of Sky Bolton of Columbia. Eddie was a truck driver for Fleeman Carriers in Lawrenceburg. Eddie's family shared that family was the most important part of his life and he treasured all the time spent especially with his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and loved to dance. Eddie and Sky spent every weekend singing karaoke. He was a member of Ebenezer Community Church.

Eddie passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, while driving his truck in the Chicago, IL, area.

Survivors include his wife, Sky Allen Bolton of Columbia; father and step-mother, William Edward Henrietta Kelley Bolton of Hohenwald; children, David Edward Rose Bolton of Columbia, Jason Edward Bolton of Columbia, Matthew C.M. Barbara Forbes of Pulaski, Zack A. Leigh Ann Forbes of Lawrenceburg and Sarah C. Forbes of Nashville; grandchildren, Krystal, Amber, Barry, Pixxi Sky, Dylan Thomas Patrick, Madison, Gracie, Adriona, Austyn, Traevion and Kloee; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy Jay Davidson of Columbia and Gracie Brannon of Lawrenceburg; one brother, Michael Bolton of Hohenwald; two nephews, Phillip Bolton of Lawrenceburg and Clinton Amanda Bradley of Lake City, FL; in-laws, Gordon and Linda Allen of Lakeland, FL; sisters-in-law, Brandy John Powell of Lakeland, FL, Tracie Vigil of Lakeland, FL; brother-in-law, Dave Allen of Sebring, FL; grandmother-in-law, Anita Fryzel of Box Springs, GA; two aunts, Elizabeth Rose Boundarant of Mt. Pleasant and Linda Jerry Young of Mt. Pleasant; thee uncles, Bill Isabell of Mt. Pleasant, John C. Bolton of Columbia and Walter Wilson Bolton of Hohenwald. In addition to his mother, Eddie was preceded in death by his step-father, Lewis Medlin and several aunts and uncles.


Funeral services for Eddie will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Danny Hunt and Connie Etten officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19.

The family will visit with friends on Friday from 5:30 – 9:00 P.M. and again on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be David Bolton, Jason Bolton, Matt Forbes, Zack Forbes, John Powell, Gabe Moore and Phillip Bolton. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Fleeman Carriers.
