Mr. Earnest Dean Rowe, age 72 , resident of Nolensville Pike in Nashville, passed away, Wednesday, July 7 at Radnor Towers in Nashville following an extended illness.
Graveside services for Mr. Rowe will be conducted at 11 A.M. Saturday, July 10 at Rose Hill Cemetery of the Campbellsville Community in Giles County with Rev. Herb Helton officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Friday from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
Born January 29, 1938 in Giles County, he was the son of the late Marvin Brown Rowe and Daisy Shelton Rowe of Lewisburg. He loved the outdoors, fishing and working in the garden. He also loved his dogs. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Donna Rowe of Nashville; four daughters: Bonnie DannyBaldwin, Barbara Roger Birdsong, Bonita Mike McKinney and Loretta Warren all of Nashville' two sons: Jimmy Kaye Rowe and Bobby Darlene Rowe both of Nashville; four brothers: Paul Rowe, Roy Rowe and Wayne Rowe all of Lewisburg and Wendall Rowe of Pulaski; eight sisters: Nadine Ragsdale, Mary Jo Dunnavant, Martha Ann Thomason, Linda Dalton, Brenda Collins and Jean Jett all of Lewisburg, Marie Carter of Fayetteville and Carolyn Hunter of Martin, TN; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Rowe, Daniel Baldwin, Jr., Billy Williams, Herman Love, Mickie McKenny and Mike McKenny. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Rowe, Mickie Dunnavant, David Norris, Oscar Garcia and Jon Taylor.
