Mr. Earl Duane Devault, age 81, passed away at his home in Columbia, Tennessee on Monday, September 22, 2014.
Duane was born on December 29, 1932 to the late Clay Devault and the late Georgie Grisamer Devault in Syracuse, Indiana. He served our country honorably in the Army during the Korean War. He attended college at Ball State in Indiana and worked as a die maker for General Motors.
He married his wife, the former Linda Bizjack, on February 23, 1957 and they had five children together. He attended St. Catherine Catholic Church with his wife. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW, both in Wabash, Indiana.
Mr. Devault is survived by his loving wife: Linda Devault of Columbia; children: Cindy Rowekamp of Columbia, Mark (Julie) Devault of California, Debbie (Mike) Burris of Mt. Juliet, TN, Connie (Phil) Munn-Scamihorn of Michigan and Cathy (Scott) Duncan of Jeffersonville, Indiana; grandchildren: Kyle (Lindsey Sewell) Rowekamp, Kari Rowekamp, Angela, Shaun and Landon Devault, Lance, Logan and Kenzie Roberts, Alexis, Anna (C. J. Six) Munn, Bryce Munn, Susan and Jacob Duncan; great-grandson: Carson Rowekamp. He is preceded in death by his parents: Clay and Georgie Devault; and brother: Robert Devault.
A Celebration of Life Inurnment Service for Duane will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia with Father Davis Chackaleckel officiating.
