Dyllan Watkins, 15, a resident of Pulaski Pike in Columbia, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2008 at Athens Limestone Hospital in Athens, AL.
Funeral services for Dyllan will be conducted Tuesday, February 26, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev, Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of Elizabeth and Shane Parks and Donnie Watkins. He was a student who loved hunting, fishing and was an avid sportsman.
In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his sisters: Brooklyn Marie Watkins and Kayla Parks, both of Columbia; grandparents: Lois Watkins and Allen Reese, Johnny Watkins and Jan Andrews, both of Columbia, Doris Howell of Waco, Mike and Carolyn Parks of Spring Hill; adoptive grandfather: Terry Deason, Sr.; great grandparents: Frances Watkins and Margie Clark, both of Columbia, Leonard Pennington of Russellville, AL, John Parks of Newbern, TN; aunts and uncles: Billy Pace, Amanda Pace, Irene Lynn, Tracy Lynn, Misty Parks, Lacy Howell, Gina and Terry Chandler, Harold Wayne Pigue, Debbie King and Terry and Tracy Deason, Jr.; numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather: Harold Lynn; great grandparents: James Clark, John B. Watkins, Lennis Curtis, J.A. and Elizabeth Lynn.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Jacobs, Justin Deason, Billy Pace, Dean Collins, Greg Morton and Phillip Morton.
