Dwight Lee Burgett

Mr. Dwight Lee Burgett, 39, died Thursday, May 12, 2005 at his residence on Lawrence Street in Columbia.
Graveside services for Mr. Burgett will be conducted Sunday, May 15, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Dave Jolly officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
The Maury County native was the son of the Clara B. Rummage Burgett of Columbia and the late James H. Burgett. Mr. Burgett was a welder and millwright for several companies in Columbia. He was a former artist, avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Joyce Edlin of Lynnville, TN; a brother, Mike Burgett of Columbia, TN; two nephews, Michael Burgett, Jr. of Summertown, TN and Mason Edlin of Lynnville, TN; two uncles, Marlin Jimmie Rummage of Columbia, TN and Ray Janice Burgett of Culleoka, TN; one aunt, Christine Watkins of Princeton, IN.
Pallbearers will be Dallas Vance, Brian Vance, Dusty Vance, James Eddlemon, Mike Burgett, Jr. Rick Mencer, Randy Green and Don Ellich.
Honorary pallbearers will Rick Steinberg , Mike Thurman, Jere Plant, Ray Burgett, Lance Kuderewski, Ryan Mullins and Eric Snedegar.
