Dr. John R. Earls, Jr.

Dr. John R. Earls, Jr. D.C., 43, local chiropractic physician and resident of Camellia Drive and the husband of Rebecca Hale Earls, died Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Dr. Earls will be conducted Saturday, February 01, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Brian Wiesinger and Reverend Gene Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, he was the son of John R. Earls, Sr. and Lena M. "Boots" Johnson Earls. Dr. Earls attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Mo. and he was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors in addition to his wife and parents, include: three daughters: Madelaine Rae, Jayne Suzanne and Lena Rebecca Earls, all of Columbia; two sisters: Kym Earls Bailes and Kris Earls-Fender, both of Columbia; five nephews: Ian Earls Bailes, Spencer Earls Bailes, Zachary Earls-Fender, Hunter Earls-Fender of Columbia and Mitchell Hale of St. Louis, MO.; five nieces: Austyn Earls-Fender of Columbia and Laura Jennings, Sera Jennings, Lydia Hale and Anna Hale, all of St. Louis, Mo.
Active Pall bearers will be Ernie Johnson, Charlie Johnson, Tim Bailes, Tim Fender, Jerry Strahan, Dr. Chris Thiesing, Donald Paunil, Frank Hale and Dr. John Billingsley.
Memorials may be made to the Grace Church of the Nazarene.
