Dorothy Jane Browning Simmons

Mrs. Dorothy J. Simmons, 61, a resident of Natural Bridge Road in Waynesboro, died Saturday, November 5, 2005 at NHC/Lawrenceburg.
A memorial service for Mrs. Simmons will be held at a later date in Braidewood, IL. Williams Funeral Home of Columbia in charge of local arrangements.
Born in Braidewood, IL, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Imogene Hungate Browning and wife of Conley Simmons of Waynesboro. She was a homemaker and worked assembly in the furniture industry.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Tonya James Roberts of Linden, TN; three sons, Conley Robert Tabitha Simmons of Collinwood, TN, Jeffery Melvin Diana Simmons and Ty Howard Tonya Simmons, both of Florence, AL; two sisters, Thelma Terry of McLeansboro, IL and Carol Jean Zelnick of Westmont, IL; ten grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Gideons Memorial Bible Program.
