Ms. Winchester was born on June 18, 1933 in Lincoln County, Tennessee to the late John Orvis Wise and the late Rosalee Womble Wise. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Dorothy worked in the manufacturing industry as an operation technician.
Her family remembers Ms. Winchester as being a loving and caring mother and grandmother who always put others before herself. She lived for her family who was her source of happiness.
Dorothy is survived by her children: Lisa Hamlin, Randy (Laurie) Winchester and Troy Winchester; grandchildren: Tara Wright, Chelsea Hamlin, Chase Hamlin, Melody Winchester, Jim Winchester and Amanda Winchester; great-grandchildren: Rayne Rowe; Skylar Sharpe; siblings: Bernice Reed, Melba Morton and Deloris Cole; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son: Kerry Winchester and her sisters: Reva Fowler and Hallie Shelton.
