Dorothy Hendrix Lowery

Mrs. Dorothy E. Hendrix Lowery, 80, a resident of Second Avenue in Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, October 01, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lowery will be conducted, Friday October 03, 2003 at 10:00 A.M.at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Franklin Williams and Mike Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late John Harvey and Kate McClain Hendrix. She was the widow of the late Averon H. Lowery who died in 1966. She was a homemaker and a member of Locust Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra J. Buckner of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Marcia Lowery Freeman Carroll of Lewisburg, TN; a grandson, Zachary L. Turner of Murfreesboro, TN; three sisters, Gladys Hendrix Eastep of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Katherine Franklin Williams of Nashville, TN and Linda Jackie Boshers of Mt. Pleasant, TN; two brothers, Jimmy Deane Hendrix of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Horace Catherine Lindsey of Mt. Pleasant, TN; a sister- in- law, Maude Hendrix of Mt. Pleasant, TN and a daughter- in- law, Linda Lowery Of Mt. Pleasant, TN.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Steven Lowery; two brothers, Mark A. Hendrix, Clarence Hendrix; a granddaughter, Rosa Lynn Buckner.
Pallbearers will be Ray Boshers, Jason Boshers, Josh Boshers, Mitch Hendrix, Paul Neeley, Michael Eastep, Ricky Martin, Mark Allen Hendrix and Randy Eastep.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Locust Street Church of Christ, Employees of Rose Wood Manor Nursing Home, Ronnie Powell, women?s Bible Class of Locust Street Church of Christ and Dr. Thomas Farmer.
