Dorothy Helen Taylor Harman, age 96, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away at her residence on Saturday, June 03, 2017.
Dorothy was born on August 1, 1920 in Kokomo, Indiana to Earl Taylor and Helen Hale Taylor. She was the widow of Walter Harman whom she had married on December 20, 1963. She was a very strong and intelligent woman. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was among the most generous people you could ever meet. Mrs. Harman was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved daughters: Susan (Bill) Vogel of Mt. Pleasant, Tonya (Tom) Perrin of Indianapolis, IN, Stephanie (Doug) Bliss of Albion, CA and Rhonda (Jim) Hall of Wildwood, FL; grandchildren: Debra (Bruce) Bridges, Robert (Loraine) Vogel, John (Niki) Vogel, James (Amy Hiett) Vogel and seven other grandchildren; great-grandson: Connor Bridges, great-granddaughter: Abby Bridges and 8 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren; siblings: Martha Taylor, Patsy (George) McMahon, Dodie Taylor and Theresa (Bud) Hobson. She was preceded in death by her parents: Earl and Helen Hale Taylor and her husband: Walter Harman.
The family will celebrate Mrs. Harman’s life at a later date.
