Mrs. Dorothy H. White, 81, a resident of Paul Drive in Columbia, passed away Friday, March 24, 2006 at NHC/Hillview.
Graveside services for Mrs. White will be conducted Sunday, April 2, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant with Mike Kesler officiating. Williams Funeral Home of Columbia in charge of arrangements.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late James Morton and Clara Mabee Hamilton. She was a housemother at King?s Daughter school and a member of West 7th Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter, Jayne Sluus of Port Orange, FL; two sons, Durwood White, III and Wiley White, both of Nashville, TN; a brother, James Hamilton of Mt. Joy; a sister, Rebecca Parham of Columbia; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren
