Dorothy Foster Adcock

Mrs. Dorothy Jean Foster Adcock, 64, a resident of Quality Street in Culleoka, died Sunday, December 29, 2002 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Adcock will be conducted Thursday, January 2, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Eric Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Milton H. Foster, Sr. and Lola Young Foster Moore. She was homemaker for most of her life and a member of the Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by one daughter; Olivia Lewis Duncan of Culleoka; five sons, Desi Keith Karen Moore of McCains Community, Pat Jennifer Moore of Old Hickory, John Denise Moore of Columbia, Darrin Donna Terry of Culleoka and Dale Adcock of Lewisburg; two sisters; Dora Carl Swafford and Donna Maxey both of Columbia; one brother, Milton H. Bettie Foster, Jr. of Aiken, South Carolina; eleven grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers, William Richard "Bill" Foster and Joe Thomas Foster.

Active pallbearers will be Rodney Clark, Darin Cates, Shane Chatman, Joshua Moore, Shane Moore, Eric Goldman and Glen Cates.
