Dorothy Fitzgerald

Mrs. Dorothy Fitzgerald, age 69, a resident of the Sowell Mill Pike, passed away on Sunday, September 17, in Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Calvin Hardison and Andy Hall officiating. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 5:00 ? 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The Giles County native was the daughter of Sally Hellmantellor Patton of Lewisburg and the late Rob Patton. She was the wife of Clarence Fitzgerald of Columbia. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include two daughters: Linda Fitzgerald and Shirley Shane Moody, both of Columbia; two sons: Bobby Donna Fitzgerald and Roy Fitzgerald, both of Columbia; grandchildren: Melina Cozart of Shelbyville, Jonathan Earl Fitzgerald of Columbia, Danny Anglin of Columbia, Shaina Moody of Columbia, Keith Culberson of Columbia and Shaine Culberson of Columbia; five great-grandchildren; one brother: Billy Bartlet of Chapel Hill; one half-sister: Katherine Fralix of Lewisburg; half-brother: Kirk Thomas of Lewisburg; half-sister: Sue Patton of Lewisburg. She was preceded in death by one grandson: Jonathan Earl Fitzgerald.

Pallbearers will be Andy Hall, Shane Moody, Keith Culberson, Roy Fitzgerald, Gary Spires and Sammy Spires. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Anglin, Shaine Culberson, Jonathan Collins and Randal Spires.
