Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Price London, age 87, a resident of Overton Dr in Columbia, passed away on Saturday, January 2, at Claiborne & Hughes Nursing Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. London will be conducted Tuesday, January 5th at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Bob Adair officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Born on September 22, 1922 in Maury County, Dorothy was the daughter of the late O.E. Price, Sr. and Mary Sue Beatty Price and the widow of William Clayton London. She was a shipping manager for the Tennessee Knitting Mill. Dorothy enjoyed fishing, crocheting, cooking, gardening and quilting. She was a member of Highland park Baptist Church and also a charter member of West End Baptist Church.

Dorothy is survived by a son: Steve Gayle London of Columbia; two grandchildren: Missy Jeff Wray of Hampshire and Dan London of Columbia; two great-grandchildren: Steven Wray and Weston London; two brothers: Charles Price of Boise, ID and Ollie Stewman of Knoxville and one sister: Ruth Martin of Shelbyville, KY. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Lynn London McKee; a sister, Cornelia McNeill and two brothers: O.E. Price, Jr. and Jerry Price.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Putnam, Gilbert London, Curtis London, Steven Wray, Ronald Gregg and Andy McKee.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Jubilee Sunday School Class, Deacons of Highland Park Baptist Church, Rev. Wilson Henderson, Barney Burns, Jeff Hardy, Rev. Phillip Johnson, members of Joy Sunday School Class at West End Baptist Church.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Park Baptist Church Youth Ministry, 1800 Highland Avenue, Columbia, TN 38401.
