Doris Manus Hicks

Doris Hicks changed her address from Fall River to Heaven on Monday, October 20. She was a beloved wife of almost 60 years and Mama of five blessed children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Hattie Manus and one brother, Robert Manus, all of Tucker, GA.
She is survived by her loving husband, J. C. Hicks, of Leoma and her five devoted children; Debbee Mike Combs of Leoma, Katie Helt of Inverness, FL, Jo Hicks and June Joey Reeves, both of Leoma and Clint Dee Dee Hicks of Inverness, FL.; sister, Evelyn Farmer; two brothers, Earn Manus and Larry Manus, all of GA; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; special friends, Louise O'Kelley, Mary Jane Clayton, and Becky Hicks; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for the family will be Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 3:00 – 6:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room of the Christian Life Center of First Baptist Church, Lawrenceburg, TN. A private family service will be held at a later date.
