Doris Charlene Smith

Doris Charlene Smith was born Sept. 20, 1931 in Elgin, North Dakota, the daughter of the late Hubert and Pauline Rounds. Doris was the wife of Harry E. Smith of Lawrenceburg. She was a long time resident of Phelan, Calif., before moving to Lawrenceburg six years ago.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her children, Diane Brian Allen of Lawrenceburg, Delores Emery Weinfurtner of Omaha, Neb., and Donnie Vickey Froien of Carter Lake, Iowa; 1 grandson, 3 granddaughters and 9 great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Rounds of Lawrenceburg and one sister, Bobbie Schaltter of North Dakota.

Doris passed away on Monday evening at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with their arrangements.
