Dora Ann Corum Davis

Mrs. Dora Ann Corum Davis, age 72, a resident of Clearview Avenue in Lawrenceburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Milton Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 ? 9:00 PM and Saturday from 3:00 ? 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Born in Lauderdale County, AL, she was the daughter of the late Henry Lawrence and Emma Howard Corum and wife of the late Virgil E. Davis. She was a retired nurse from Maury Regional Hospital and a member of South Side Baptist Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Doris Jean Russell Brooks, Susan Yvon Davis, both of Lawrenceburg, Mary Elizabeth Van Workman of Leoma, Linda Marie Davis of Williamsport and Sandra Kay Terry Kelley of Mt. Pleasant; two sons, Henry Allen Davis and Steve Richard Liz Davis, both of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Hazel Weathers of Rogersville, AL; a brother, Joe Betty Corum of Lawrenceburg; 21 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Peggie Davis of Mt. Pleasant, Joyce Corum of Lakeland. FL, Sherry Corum of Lexington, Al and Debbie Rochester of NC. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Lee Davis, a grandson, Douglas Wayne White and two brothers, Conred and Henry Corum.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Shawn Brooks, Hank Davis, Brian Davis, Daniel Davis, Jeffery Davis, Raymond Davis, Randall Workman, Robert Workman, Zach Workman, Caleb Workman, Josh Kelley and Russ ?Butch? Brooks. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters, Beth Brooks, Tawnya Guldi, Wendy Workman, Nina White, Amanda White, Jessica White, Darcy Howell, Tabitha Kelley and Renee Anderson.
