Mrs. Donna M. Stanfield, age 60, a resident of the Scribner?s Mill Road in Culleoka, passed away on Monday, January 29, at Maury Regional Hospital.
No services are scheduled at this time. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of local arrangements.
Born in Norwich, CT, she was the daughter of Mrs. Margaret Stafford Belisle of Waterford, CT, and the late William Joseph Belisle, Sr. She was the wife of Donald D. Stanfield of Culleoka. She was a registered nurse for 35 years having worked for 11 years in the emergency department of William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT and for 4 years in the York Corrections Institute in Niantic, CT. She and her husband had lived in the Culleoka community for two years. She enjoyed the peaceful and calm surroundings and considered her home her little piece of Heaven.
Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include two daughters: Dawn Park Spinney of Lisbon, CT and Denise Savage of Culleoka; two brothers: William Mary Belisle III and James Kathleen Belisle, both of Lisbon, CT; grandchildren: Michael Hebert, Aimee Hebert and Christopher Hebert, all of Lisbon, CT and Katelyn Savage and Dakota Savage, both of Culleoka. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
