Donald Michael Putnam

Donald Michael Putnam, also known as Mike, passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 67. Born on Christmas Eve in 1955 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Donald J. Putnam and Shirley L. Putnam. He was one of six children and is survived by his siblings Jessica McCool, Julie Villarose-Biache, Paul Putnam, Leisa Lier, Lynne Dunnington, stepmother Sylvia Putnam, and several nieces and nephews.

Mike was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed a leisurely retirement life, spending his days doing the things he loved. He had a passion for fishing and spent many hours on the water, enjoying the serenity it provided. He was an avid cyclist, and nothing made him happier than taking a long ride on his bike and feeling the wind in his hair. He also enjoyed surfing the web, always eager to learn something new or connect with friends and family. Mike was a familiar face in Mt. Pleasant, where he loved to stroll and visit the local shops and merchants.

Mike will be remembered for his kind heart, easygoing nature, and infectious smile. He was a loving brother, stepson, uncle, and friend, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His family takes comfort in knowing that he is now at peace and reunited with his parents, who preceded him in death.

Donald Michael Putnam will always be remembered as a kind and gentle soul who brought joy to the lives of those around him.
