Donald "Don" Ferguson, age 58, passed away on March 3, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Born on June 17, 1966, in Maury County, Tennessee, Don was the beloved son of the late James and Betty Ferguson.
Don was known for his sharp wit, infectious humor, and kind heart. He had a passion for tinkering, restoring, and rebuilding small engines, from lawnmowers to bikes, always finding joy in bringing machines back to life. A proud owner of a Harley and his cherished silver Dodge truck—his trusted companion for over 20 years—Don valued the simple pleasures in life. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, embodying a spirit of generosity and warmth that touched many lives.
He is survived by his loving sister, Kim (Allen) Mosley; his nephews, Chance and Wesley Mosley; his niece, Addy Mosley; and his best friends, Cody Sharpe and Kim Barnes Sharpton and many other friends. Don is now reunited in peace with his parents, James and Betty Ferguson, and his sister, Debbie Ferguson.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. A celebration of Don’s life will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Williams Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Don’s kindness, laughter, and unwavering generosity will be dearly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.
