Mr. Donald "Donny" Belk, age 55, a resident of Buck Daniels Road, passed away on Thursday, July 30, at his residence.
A memorial service for Donny will be conducted Monday at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Columbia with Bro. Eddie Rogers officiating.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
The Natchez, MS, native was born on November 10, 1953, the son of the late Charles B. Belk. He was the husband of Cathy King Belk of Culleoka whom he married on November 12, 1983. He had recently retired as a skilled trade mechanic with General Motors. Donny was a loving father and enjoyed taking care of his yard. He had a special love for all of his friends that he worked with at General Motors. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his daughters: Jessica Wilchynski of Brookhaven, MS and Alisha Johnny Osbon of Culleoka and his grandchildren: Ethan and Locklyn Wilchynski of MS and Toby Osbon of Culleoka.
Honorary pallbearers will be all of his friends at G.M., Eddie McKee, Bob Shearer, Tom Stricklin, Jeff Bunn and Ron Fisher.
