Mrs. Dimple Marie Putnam Glasco, 81, a resident of Santa Fe Pike in Columbia, died Thursday, August 21, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Glasco will be conducted Saturday August 23, 2003 at 2:00p.m. Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Johnson and Reverend Eugene Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Floyd and Cassie Reeves Putnam and the wife of James R. Glasco. She was a homemaker and a former employee of Maury County Hatchery and a member of the Elmore Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by three sons; Richard Judy Glasco of Oklahoma City, OK, Eddie Glenda Glasco and Jeff Glasco both of Columbia; one brother Harold Evelyn Putnam of Culleoka, TN; three grandson, Wayne Laurie Glasco and Greg Aubria Glasco both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Chris Chareetah Glasco of Columbia, TN; one granddaughter, Lela Glasco of Dallas, TX; a great-grandson, Shiloh Glasco of Oklahoma City, OK and a great-granddaughter, Kayla Glasco of Oklahoma City, OK; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Johnnie Derryberry; three brothers, Mahlon Putnam, Paulie Putnam and Bobby Putnam.
Pallbearers will be David Putnam, Colt Putnam, Shane Bowen, Greg Glasco, Wayne Glasco and Chris Glasco.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Elmore Church of the Nazarene.
