Dewey Wayne Johnson

Dewey Wayne Johnson, age 69, resident of the Sowell Mill Pike, passed away on Saturday at his residence following a sudden illness.
Born in Oklahoma on October 1, 1942, Dewey was the son of the late Dewey Burl Johnson and Thelma Ruth Gamble Johnson. He worked in the manufacturing industry with Bell Helicopter Textron in Texas for 40 years. Dewey was a Master Mason in the Masonic Lodge #1195 in Ft. Worth, TX, and was a Shriner.
Survivors include his children, Chip Candyce Johnson of Columbia, Kim VanVolkinburg of North Richland Hills, TX and Tony Johnson of Springtown, TX; grandchildren, Emilio, Braden, Taylor, Brianna, Morgan, Jordan, Blake, Caitlyn and Garrett along with one great-granddaughter, Aniston. Dewey was preceded in death by one sister, Zella May Johnson.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the Johnson family with arrangements.
