Devin McKennon, 30, a resident of Goodloe Street in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services for Devin will be conducted Wednesday, March 11 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Ed Daniel officiating. Burial will follow on his family farm in Mt. Pleasant.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of Kenneth Kathy McKennon and Karen Wyrick McKennon and the husband of Chrisie Oliver McKennon. He was a member of Chapel Grove Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children: Kensleigh McKennon, Chloe McKennon and Kiley McKennon, all of Mt. Pleasant; brother: Mathew Breanne Colvett McKennon; grandmothers: Joyce Massey and Dorothy Wyrick; stepbrother: Devan Samantha Davenport; stepsister: Amber Davenport; aunts and uncles: Johnny Wyrick, Bobby Mitzi Wyrick, Shirley Calvert, Jimmy Don Marquette Wyrick, Kay Bill Runions, Hilda Hal Pickard, Debie Douglas Marshall and Kim Duane Lovett and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Vestal Wyrick, Kenneth McKennon and G.C. Massey.
Pallbearers will be Bill Workman, Eric Hendley, Canaan Workman, Duane Lovett, Leo Cole, Chad Wyrick, Clay Staggs and Devan Davenport. Honorary pallbearers will be Micky Hodge, Steve Riggins, Nicholas Hodge, Todd Fields, Randy Fields, Chase Deridder, Drew Deridder, Bill Runions, Douglas Marshall, Hal Pickard, Homer Bolton, Stanley Odom and Ricky Frazier.
