Devan Nance, age 29, passed away on February 20, 2022, in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.
He was born July 20, 1992, to his parents Scotty Nance and Dawn Ballinger Nance in Columbia, Tennessee.
“To know Devan, was to love Devan” is a statement that rings true. Devan has a heart of gold. A truly caring and loving personality that would draw in anyone in a room. There was no such thing as a stranger to Devan. His contagious smile and laughter could reign in anyone and will be missed the most. He was the best “Bub Bub” to his special little niece and nephew.
Of many other things, Devan was a true country boy. He loved the early, brisk mornings of hunting and the calm still waters when fishing, but his favorite times are always on horseback riding towards the sunset.
Devan has left an impression on all his loved ones’ hearts that will never fade. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving parents; sister: Kimmie (Matt) Hayes; nephew: Waylon Hayes; niece: River Hayes; special pup: Milo; grandfather: Kent Ballinger; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Joe and Carolyn Nance, and Doris Ballinger.
