Dellie Hughes

Mrs. Dellie Lucille ?Hoody? Ragsdale Hughes, 77, a resident of Hwy. 20 in Summertown, died Saturday, September 11, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hughes will be conducted Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. J.D. Brooks and Rev. Gary Hughes officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday 5:00 until 9:00 p. m. at the funeral home.

Born in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Opel Pack Ragsdale and wife of Harvey Hughes. She was retired from Mt. Pleasant Manufacturing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Herman Pete Vicki Staggs and Sherman Staggs, both of Mt. Pleasant; six grandchildren, Daniel Staggs of Summertown, Rachel Edward Beech of Mt. Pleasant, Ryan Staggs of Centerville, Clay Staggs of Mt. Pleasant, Justin Staggs of Mt. Pleasant and Jessie Staggs of Mt. Pleasant; eight great grandchildren, Helena Holt, Jarrett Beech, Austin Beech, Samuel Beech, Cale Staggs, Brooklyn Staggs, Caden Staggs and Cortney Staggs, all of Mt. Pleasant.

Pallbearers will be Friends of the family. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Clifton, Tina Wilks, Iva Farris, Cardiac Care Unit of Maury Regional Hospital and Dr. Dake and staff.
