Deborah Darnell Humphrey

Deborah Darnell Hay Humphrey, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at her home in Santa Fe, Tennessee.

She was the daughter of Allen Larry Hay and Ethel May Humphrey Hay and was born in Columbia, Tennessee on February 13, 1953. Deborah was very artistic and loved flowers, especially lilies. She enjoyed gardening very much, and being outside in general. Her family recalls that one of her favorite hobbies was fishing, especially with her very good friend, Michelle Scott on the Tennessee River or at Williamsport Lake. Another of her favorite past-times was to sit on a mower and mow.

She worked for a number of years at Bridgestone Tire as an inspector and at CPS.

Deborah is survived by her husband: David W. Eatherly, children: Earl W. (Jessica) Humphrey, Jr., Jeffrey Lee Humphrey, Crystal D. Craig, Cynthia R. Humphrey, and Beverly Renee Eatherly, Darryl Wayne Eatherly; grandchildren: Justin W. Humphrey, Abby Lauren Humphrey, Rachel Elizabeth Humphrey, Dillon Blake Craig, Jasmine Haley Craig, Logan Blaine Capps, Michael Gage Walls, , Mikhayla Eatherly, Shayla Eatherly, Hayden Eatherly and Dustin Smith.

Funeral services for Ms. Humphrey will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Tandy Roberts and J. O. Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Friday, July 5, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert Humphrey, Justin Humphrey, Dillon Craig, Art Fitzgerald, Darryl Eatherly and Ronnie Byrd will serve as pallbearers. Michael Gage Walls, Jr. Shouse, Monte Norman, Logan Capps and Ricky Montgomery will serve as honorary pallbearers.
