Deborah Sue Burgett

Deborah Sue Burgett, age 66, passed away peacefully at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. Debbie was born August 3, 1954, in Lawrence County, Tennessee to Charles and Lois Nafe Richardson.

Debbie was a free spirit that loved to get up and go. She was always ready to go, all she needed was a phone call or a moment’s notice and she would be ready in a heartbeat. Whether it was shopping, going on a cruise, or to the beach, it didn’t matter where it was she truly enjoyed spending time with people. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend and she will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Debbie is survived by her son: Derrick (Jennifer) Burgett; grandchildren: Emma Burgett, Macie Burgett, and Sophie Burgett; parents: Charles and Lois Jean Richardson; brothers: Larry (Jennifer) Richardson and Garry Richardson; niece: Hannah (Hayden) Alford; and nephew: Sam Richardson; Debbie preceded in death by her sister: Shirley Richardson.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN. The service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021, in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia, TN with Brother Bob Vassar officiating.

Pallbearers will be: Derrick Burgett, Donald Burgett, Larry Richardson, and Sam Richardson.
