Debora Ferguson

Debora Jean Ferguson, age 60, passed away on January 18, 2021, at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, TN.

She was born on November 15, 1960, in Columbia to her loving parents James Ferguson and Betty Johnson Ferguson.

Debora had a heart of gold. She radiated a positive attitude and energy; smiling wherever she was. She loved her technology to keep her close to her friends and family. She worked as a utilization nurse at St.Thomas before her accident in 2002.

A service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. The family will be receiving friends and family prior from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.

Debora is survived by her parents: James and Betty Ferguson; brother: Don Ferguson; sister: Kim (Allen) Mosley; her niece and nephews: Addy Mosley, Chance Mosley, and Wesley Mosley, she thought of as her own children; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her caregivers and her special friends: Elizabeth Grooms and Alexis Cervantes.

Honorary pallbearers are friends of Liberty Baptist Church. Active pallbearers will be Jack Burgett, Michael Burgett, Allen Teasley, Wayne Whitwell, Chance Mosley, and Wesley Mosley.
