Mr. Dearrel D. Holtzclaw, 78, a resident of Poplar Creek Rd. in Williamsport, died Saturday at his residence.
Funeral service for Mr. Holtzclaw will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Wiesinger officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in New Haven, IL, Mr. Holtzclaw was the son of the late Oscar and Mary Smith Holtzclaw and husband of Vivian Randell Holtzclaw. He was a retired plant manager for the Whiteman Industries in Michigan, a Sunday School teacher and a past board member at Grace Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to his wife, he is survived a daughter, Mrs. Deborah Fred Garrow of Santa Fe; two sons, Gary Mary Holtzclaw of Berea, Ky. and Richard Carol Holtzclaw of Grand Haven, MI.; two sisters, Sharon Page and Betty Stahl, both of Coffeen, IL.; a brother, Jerry Holtzclaw of Coffeen, IL.; eight grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Holtzclaw and a brother, Doyle Holtzclaw.
